Mary Grimes

Mary Joanna Grimes April 13, 1934-October 13, 2018 Mary J. Grimes, 84, of Kokomo, Indiana, passed away Saturday, October 13, 2018 at North Woods Village in Kokomo, Indiana, following a lengthy illness. She was born April 13, 1934 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Alden H. Kelm and Ellen (Presley) Kelm. On June 28, 1953, at the First Church of God in LaPorte, Indiana, she married Dale Grimes who preceded in death April 13, 1998. She is survived by her sister, Sandra Kelm of Kokomo, Indiana. Mary was preceded in death by both her parents, her husband, and her brother, Thomas Kelm. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor John Newton officiating.
