Mary Mumaw

Mary E. Mumaw November 18, 1963-February 9, 2018 Mrs. Mary E. Mumaw, 54, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Friday February 9, 2018 at I.U. Heath Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana. She was born November 18, 1963 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Raymond Bailey and Florence (Sutton) Bailey. Mary was a member of the First Church of God and Women of the Moose Chapter 935 of Michigan City, IN She graduated from La Porte High School in 1982 and has been very active on the Reunion Committee. On March 5, 1988 in Fish Lake, IN. she married William O. Mumaw who survives. She is also survived by her two sons, Matthew Mumaw, Andrew Mumaw; two sisters, Elsie (James) Keel, Ruth New; two brother-in-laws, Lee (Roberta) Mumaw, Thomas (Tina) Mumaw; sister-in-law, Margaret Sawyer all of La Porte, IN and many nieces and nephews. Mary was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Linda Kuhns. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, February 15, 2018, from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm and Friday, February 16, 2018, at the First Church of God from 10:00 am until time of the service. A life celebration will be held at First Church of God, Friday February 16, 2018 at 11:00 am with Rev. Jeff Zigler officiating. Interment will follow at the Patton Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana.
