Mary B. Rose July 28, 1930-December 14, 2017 Mary B. Rose, 87, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017 at her home in La Porte, Indiana. She was born July 28, 1930 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Arthur M. Bickel and Mae G. (Tennis) Bickel. Mary was a homemaker and also worked for ten years as a cashier for Wainscott Auction Service, Civic Food Mart, and Danners. She was a member of the Women of the Moose and enjoyed baking, playing bingo, and reading books. On January 7, 1950, in La Porte, Indiana, she married Donald T. Rose who preceded her in death September 16, 1978. She is survived by her two daughters, Donna Wainscott of La Porte, IN, Jane E. Rose of La Porte, IN; son, Ronald T. Rose of La Porte, IN; five grandchildren, Tricia Wainscott of Mishawaka, IN, Danielle Frederickson of Bremen, IN, Brandon Rose of La Porte, IN, Ronald Rose, II of La Porte, IN, Beth Hutts of La Porte, IN; six-great-grandchildren; special caregiver, Margaret Napier. Mary was preceded in death by both her parents, husband, son, Donald A. Rose, and sister, Hazel Kaufman. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, Indiana where the family will receive friends Sunday, December 17, 2017, 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Monday, December 18, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor JoEllyn Chadwick officiating. Interment will follow at the Oak Grove Cemetery, Mill Creek, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Milton Adult Day Services, 922 E.
