Maryetta Plank

Mrs. Maryetta L. Plank, age 85, of La Porte, Ind., died 11:00 PM Monday, July 2, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born December 25, 1921 in LaPorte, Ind. to the late Ketter Euler and the late Grace Wheaton Euler, and has lived in the LaPorte area all of her life. Mrs. Plank was a Homemaker and was a member of Fair Haven Church. She became a Christian in 1963. She loved helping people, sewing, helping people with their sewing, playing cards, bingo, traveling. She loved her family and friends. She loved life and was a happy person. On January 21, 1949in Decorah, Iowa she married Robert Plank Sr. who preceded in death January 29, 1982. She is survived by her Two Daughters, Mrs. LaDonna Buchman of Seguin, Texas, Mrs. Emma Kenneth Kamrowski of Hesperia, Mich.; Three Sons, Mr. Robert Marilyn Plank, Jr. of Mill Creek, Ind., Mr. Maynard Dottie Plank of North Judson, Ind., Mr. Charles Mary Plank of Michigan City, Ind.; Fifteen grandchildren; Twenty Three great-grandchildren; Three great-great grandchildren; Two Sisters, Shirley Wriss of La Porte, Ind.; Geraldine Arthur Schrom of Shelbyville, Tenn. She is preceded in death by her husband, parents; Three Sisters, Alberta Roller, Narcella Patton, Patricia Juckett; Six Brothers, Raymond, Charles, Eugene, Kenneth, Herbert and Joseph Euler. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, July 5, 2007 and from 11:00 AM Friday until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Friday, July 6, 2007, Rev. Sam Geckler officiating. Interment will be at Oak Grove Cemetery in Mill Creek, Ind.
