Maxine Maynard

Ms. Maxine F. Maynard, age 69, of La Porte, Ind., died 10:20 AM Monday, February 26, 2007, at University of Chicago in Chicago, Ill. She was born April 23, 1937 in Marion, Ind. to the late Francis White and the late Meda Wallers White. She has lived in the LaPorte area for 51 years. Ms. Maynard was employed by Blue Chip Casino as a slot technician and retired in 2002. She also worked at National Can as a machine operator. She was a member of First United Methodist Church and loved her family and friends. She is survived by her Three Daughters, Mrs. Deborah John Beebe of La Porte, Ind., Pam Swedenberg of Michigan City, Ind., Sharon Wagner of San Jose, Calif.; One Son, Kenneth Nichole Maynard of Clarksville, Tenn.; Seven grandchildren; Three Sisters, Mary Piotrowicz of Walkerton, Ind., Thelma Jack Blake of La Porte, Ind., Helen Daniels of Indianapolis, Ind. She was preceded in death by her parents One Sister, Bev Wallen and Four Brothers, John White, Robert White, Eugene Gully, and Larry White. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday, March 1, 2007 and Friday from 9:00 AM until time of the service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 10:00 AM Friday, March 2, 2007, Rev. Douglas Hadley officiating. Interment will be at Westlawn Cemetery in North Liberty, Ind.
