Norman Hedstrom

Mr. Norman Rudolph Hedstrom, age 78, of Rolling Prairie, Ind., died Friday, August 24, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in LaPorte, Ind. He was born September 6, 1928, in LaPorte, Indiana, to the late Carl Hedstrom and the late Aline Trainor Hedstrom, also preceded in death are three grandchildren, Craig Jenks, Lisa Henoch, Timothy. On June 5, 1948 in LaPorte, IN, he married Frances Parker, who survives. Mr. Hedstrom was employed by New York Blower and was a member of Rolling Prairie United Methodist Church. He was also a member of Member of Teamsters #298 and #135. Graduated from LaPorte High School. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Frances Parker Hedstrom, Rolling Prairie, IN, Four Daughters, Mrs. Linda Robert Shaw of Knox, Ind. Mrs. Holly Calvin Jenks of Knox, Ind. Mrs. Juli Richard Laymon of La Porte, Ind. Susan Hedstrom of Rolling Prairie, Ind. One Sister, Mrs. Carole Halley of El Cajon, Calif. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM Monday, August 27, 2007. A Graveside service will be at Door Village Cemetery at 10:00 AM Tuesday, August 28, 2007 , Rev. David Tripp officiating. Interment will be at Door Village Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
