Pamela June Schroeder

Pamela June Schroeder of Valparaiso, IN, died at her home on 24 October 2026, following a lengthy battle with liver cancer. Pam was born on March 30, 1945 to Lloyd and Ila (Kjoss) Schroeder, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by a niece, Jennifer Ormsby, and a stepsister, Donna Meyer. Pam is survived by her brother, Douglas (Bonnie) Schroeder of Angola, IN; nieces and nephews: Kelly Schroeder Graeber, Michael Schroeder, Kathleen Schroeder, Rita Kuzmin, James Richerson, Dennis Richerson, and Sylvia Stewart. Her stepsister, Avonne Tomerlin, also survives.

Pam was active at the BANTA Activity Center for seniors where she enjoyed exercising and being cantankerous at playing games with her friends. Pam attended various Methodist churches all of her life. She was deeply grateful for the Valparaiso Public Library and was an avid reader. Pam was a lifelong, fervent Wheeler Bearcat and maintained an interest in all alumni doings.

Pam requested no funeral services be held, and her remains will be interred at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso with arrangements handled by Haverstock Funeral Home in LaPorte, IN. Memorials may be made to the BANTA Activity Center, 605 Beech St., Valparaiso, IN 46383.
