Patricia Ann Peters April 9, 1937-December 17, 2017 Mrs. Patricia Ann Peters, 80, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Sunday December 17, 2017 at her home in La Porte, IN. She was born April 9, 1937 in Michigan City, Indiana, the daughter of Clarence Walker and Nina (Wines) Walker. Patricia retired as a supervisor of several departments at Countryside Place Nursing Home. She was raised as a member of the Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and ceramics and loved spending time out doors. On May 21, 1982, in La Porte, IN, she married Robert Peters who preceded in death Jan. 17, 2015. She is survived by her three daughters, Debra (Bobby) Balenger, Teresa (Kenny Peterson) Sullivan, Josephine (Philip) Holmes; son, Raymond (Dawn) Peters; eight Grandchildren, Lisa Balenger, Sabrina Balenger, Shelly Peters, Tony Sullivan, Jennifer Peters, Amber Neff, Kameron Peters, Kristina Peters; 16 great grandchildren; two brothers, Gene (Loretta) Walker, Richard (Teresa) Walker; and a sister, Charolette (Jim) Ackerman. Patricia was preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Ronald, James, Steve Walker, and a sister, Shirley Johnson. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN where the family will receive friends Thursday, December 21, 2017, 9:30 am until time of the service. A life celebration will be held at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., Thursday December 21, 2017 at 10:30 am with Pastor Paul Richardson officiating. Interment will follow at the Pine Lake Cemetery, LaPorte, Indiana. Memorial contributions may be made to the family of Patricia Ann Peters.
