Paul Buss

Mr. Paul Eugene Buss, age 86, of Rolling Prairie, Ind., died Friday, August 24, 2007, at Hamilton Communities in Rolling Prairie, Ind. He was born September 9, 1920, in LaPorte, Indiana, to the late Orlando Buss and the late Eleanor Foltz Buss. Also preceded in death is his wife, Jane Weir Wilberg, son, Robert, and a sister, Margarite Prestin. He was married on May 10, 1942 in LaPorte, Indiana to Jane Wilberg, who preceded, December 4, 2006. Mr. Buss was owner of Buss Electric for 39 years, and was a member of First Christian Church of Rolling Prairie. He was a Veteran of U.S. Air Force during WW II. Belonged to the VFW of Rolling Prairie and American Legion. Charter Member of the Kankakee Twp. Volunteer Fire Department. He is survived by his , one Son, Mr. Kenneth Judy Buss of Rolling Prairie, Ind, One Brother, Walter Rita Buss of Rolling Prairie, Ind. One grandchild, Jeff Buss of Peoria, AZ. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM Sunday, August 26, 2007 and from 11:00 AM to Monday, August 27, 2007 until time of service. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 12:30 PM Monday, August 27, 2007, with Steve Laue officating. Burial of Ashes will be held at a later date in the Rolling Prairie Cemetery in Rolling Prairie, Ind. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kankakee Township Volunteer Fire Department.
