Thelma Keehn

Mrs. Thelma B. Keehn, age 95, of La Porte, Ind., died 2:20 AM Wednesday, February 7, 2007, at LaPorte Hospital in La Porte, Ind. She was born August 1, 1911 in St. Joseph County to the late Frank Thornburg and the late Elsie Lewis Thornburg. She has lived in the LaPorte County area most of her life. Mrs. Keehn was a Homemaker and was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ. She was also a member of the church guild. On September 4, 1929 in LaPorte County, Ind. she married Arnold Keehn who preceded her in death September 19, 1969. She is survived by her Two Daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Harold Sellers of La Porte, Ind., Mrs. Phyllis Doll of Hanna, Ind.; One Son, Mr. Herman Bonnie Keehn of Wanatah, Ind.; Eight grandchildren Gina White, Karol Friedman, Doug Keehn, Darrin Keehn, Kelli Smoker, Jay Keehn, Toni Salisbury, Traci Doll; Twenty great-grandchildren; and Four great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her Parents; Husband; One Grandchild Teri Phelan; Two Sisters; and Three Brothers. Arrangements are being handled by Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc., 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Ind., where the family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2007. Funeral service will be at Haverstock Funeral Home, Inc. at 1:00 PM Tuesday, February 13, 2007, Rev. Victor M. Frohne officiating. Interment will be at Patton Cemetery in LaPorte, Ind.
