Tracy Lynn Kuntz
October 20, 1973 - April 22, 2026
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Tracy Lynn Kuntz, aged 52, on April 22, 2026. Born on October 20, 1973, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Tracy spent her life nurturing connections with her family and friends. She resided in New Carlisle (Hudson Lake), Indiana, where she will be remembered not only for her vibrant spirit but for her unwavering love of life and adventure.
Tracy filled her days with her passions, which included camping, fishing, and spending cherished moments with her family. Many memories were made during the annual Turkey Run Camping Trips, where laughter echoed through the trees and where her infectious joy brought everyone together. Tracy had a unique way of brightening any room with her favorite sayings- "Suck it up, Buttercup," and "Guess What! Chicken Butt!"
Tracy is survived by her devoted mother, Hattie Kuntz (Schultz) of New Carlisle, Indiana; her brothers, Steven Kuntz Jr. of New Carlisle, Indiana and Christopher (Tosha Dobrowolski) Kuntz of La Porte, Indiana; and her step-sister, Gloria Slawnikowski of Wheatfield, Indiana. She was the proud aunt to her nephews Jacob Kuntz, Ethan Kuntz, Nathan Wheeler, and Jamison Kuntz, as well as her nieces Lillian Kuntz, Samantha Kuntz, Grace Bailey, and Jennifer Goldsmith. She also leaves behind her cherished cousin, Judy Davis and several great nieces and nephews. Each of these relationships was a vital part of Tracy's life, and she cherished every moment spent with her family.
Tracy was preceded in death by her father, Steven Kuntz Sr.; nephew, Logan Kuntz; niece, Gretchen McLoughlin; maternal grandparents, August R. and Katherine Schultz; and paternal grandparents, Marvin and Alberta Kuntz.
A service will be held to celebrate Tracy's life and the love she shared with everyone around her. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M., Monday, May 4, 2026 at Haverstock Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN with Pastor Rick Jones officiating.
