Walter Kissling Sr.

Mr. Walter C. Kissling, 68, of 6931 N. State Road 39, LaPorte, Indiana passed away Friday May 21, 2004 at his residence. He had lived in LaPorte for the past fourteen years coming from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Born April 20, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Harold and Anna M. Hannigan Kissling, who preceded. On March 7, 1966 in Greensburg, Virginia he married Elizabeth Fredericks who survives. He worked for General Electric as a machine operator for fifteen years. Surviving with his wife are two daughters; Elizabeth Kevin Bealor of Mattawan, Michigan, Edna Richard Loop of LaPorte, three sons; Walter C. Kissling Jr. of Tamaqua, Pennsylvania, Harold Kissling of LaPorte, Raymond Kissling Michelle Kissling of LaPorte, two sisters Delores Borne and Eileen Duett both of Kissimmee, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and one sister. A funeral service will be held Wednesday May 26, 2004 at the Haverstock Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m., with Rev. James P. Jones officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday from 4-8 p.m., and Wednesday from 8:00 a.m. until time of service.
