William H. King, Sr. January 8, 1944-May 31, 2017 William "Bill" H. King Sr, 73, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday May 31, 2017 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, IN. He was born January 8, 1944 in South Bend, Indiana, the son of James King and Ruth (McMann) King. William was a member of the St. John Lutheran Church in LaPorte, IN. He enjoyed fishing, riding horses, jigsaw puzzles,western movies and especially spending time with his grandchildren. On May 12, 1984, in LaPorte, Indiana, he married Lucinda (Wood) King who survives. He is also survived by his daughter, Mary Crayson of UT; three sons, William (Lisa) King, Jr. of Michigan City, IN, Bryan Adams of La Porte, IN, Richard King of La Porte, IN; twelve grandchildren, Blaise, Jordan, Nick, Stephanie, Cheyenne, Bill III, Kaleb, Austin, Zoe, Brandon, Brody, and Bryce; four great grandchildren; brother, Jim (Laura) King of AZ; three sisters, Pat Hall of Logansport, IN, Joan Cox of Michigan City, IN, Sandy (Larry) Reuille of Chesterton, IN. William was preceded in death by his parents and four sisters. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN.
