William "Bill" W. Walter January 22, 1983-July 2, 2018 William W. Walter, 35, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018 at Indiana University Health La Porte Hospital in La Porte, Indiana. He was born January 22, 1983 in La Porte, Indiana, the son of William R. Walter and Moneta (Miller) Walter both of La Porte, Indiana. Bill graduated from La Porte High School then went on to serve in the United States Navy. He enjoyed all kinds of artwork and loved to draw, read documentaries, and going on nature walks. Bill really enjoyed spending time with his four dogs; Disney, Elsa, Carmen, and Lee. He is also survived by his sister, Tracy Shirley of Owensboro, KY; Fiancé, Jennifer Staples of La Porte, IN; three step-sons, Jeffrey, Landen, Brody; niece, Brook; two nephews, Laken and Reed; many cousins, aunts, and uncles. William was preceded in death by two - grandfathers and 2-grandmothers. Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, Indiana.
