Anthony " Amaris" Rosa Alvarado

Anthony "Amaris" Rosa Alvarado, 35, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Saturday November 27, 2021 as the result of an automobile accident in La Porte.

He was born May 21, 1986 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, the son of James Rosa Martinez and Luz Delia Alvarado.

Anthony moved to La Porte only 5 months ago from Massachusetts and went to work for B and B Manufacturing in the shipping and receiving department. He was a member of the Baptist religion.  Anthony enjoyed playing pool and darts with his friends and working on cars.  He loved kids and was always helping others in any way he could. Anthony was an up and coming musician who wrote music and instrumentals on his laptop, as well as doing a little singing and rapping.

He is survived by his parents; his grandmother, Daniela Martinez; brothers, Jaime Rosa and Samuel Rosa Alvarado ; sisters, Ana Lidia Rosa and Jessica Rosa and several nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. The family will have a private viewing before flying Anthony to Massachusetts for burial.
