Gerald A. Giesbrecht, 53, of Kalamazoo, Michigan,  died July 19, 2020 in La Porte, IN.

He was born February 26, 1967 in Kalamazoo, MI, son of Robert and Ramona (Breeden) Giesbrecht.

Gerald recently moved to La Porte from Kalamazoo to be with his brother. He enjoyed spending time on the computer, gaming and socializing.  Because he loved animals, while in Kalamazoo he had several cats who he loved dearly.

Gerald is survived by his father, Robert Giesbrecht, Sr.of La Porte, formerly of Kalamazoo; a brother, Robert Giesbrecht, Jr. of La Porte, IN and a sister, Tammy ( Steve ) Graham of Benton, AR.

Gerald was preceded in death by his loving mother, Ramona Giesbrecht.

No service is planned at this time. Cremation has taken place.
