LaDonna Fay Butler 

March 1, 1944-December 16, 2020

 

LaDonna Butler, 76, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Wednesday December 16, 2020 at Fountain View Terrace in La Porte.

She was born March 1, 1944 in La Porte, Indiana, the daughter of Bernard and Rosetta (Lawrence) Vandervliet.

LaDonna worked as a production worker for American Home Foods. A member and soldier of the Salvation Army, she was a Girl Guard and a Sunbeam leader, a tambourine player for the Timbrel Brigade, and a member of the Home League women's group.  She enjoyed playing games, like Bingo, Uno and Yahtzee.

LaDonna is survived by her three sisters, Patricia Vandervliet of La Porte, IN, Phylis (Perry) Crowe of FL, Nancy Gallop of Columbus, OH; nieces and nephews, Naomi Woodard of La Porte, Karlene (Artemio) Haro of La Porte,  John (Faith) Woodard of Minot, ND, Nikki Benson of La Porte;

Ladonna was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Woodard and nephew, Timothy Woodard.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. The family has selected cremation.
