Michael Anthony Burcham, 63, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday August 5, 2021 at his home.

He was born August 9, 1957 in Hammond, Indiana, the son of Roy Burcham and Ruth (Jones) Burcham.

A lifelong resident of the area, Michael grew up in Chesterton.  Michael was a wonderful Master Carpenter, very accomplished in his field.  He was an avid Chicago Bears fan and had a great sense of humor. He will be missed by many.

Michael is survived by his parents; his children, Mikey, Jessica and Heather; two brothers, Jeffrey Burcham of Michigan City and Stephen Burcham of Chesterton; a sister, Karen (Jeffrey) Bridegroom of Chesterton; ex-wife & dear friend, Jody Havercamp; nieces and nephews, Seth, Ally, Brandon, Bobby, Grace, Laura, Jenny and grandchildren.

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. The family will hold a private service with interment at the Chesterton Cemetery.
