December 17, 1965-August 27, 2021

 

Carolyn Sue Rosenbaum, 55, of Kingsford Heights, Indiana, passed away Friday August 27, 2021 at Northwest Health-La Porte in La Porte, IN.

 

She was born December 17, 1965 in South Bend, Indiana, the daughter of Robert E. Hayes and Frances (Windmiller) Hayes.

 

Carolyn was an avid reader enjoying crime books, mysteries, romance, para-normal, and ghost stories. She had a great record collection featuring the old 45's and she truly enjoyed music. Her favorite artists were boy bands like Nsync, Backstreet Boys, and the new Korean boy band BTS. She was a CNA for a period of time but what Carolyn really held a passion for was her family. She loved spending time with them watching her favorite TV shows. She will be greatly missed.

 

She is survived by her four daughters, Korei Comeno-VanAsdall (Brandon Ekins) of Westville, IN, Rolene (Jesse) Eddy, Brianne Rosenbaum, and Chloe Comeno-Rosenbaum; two brothers, Mitchell Hayes, David Hayes; two sisters, Melody Sue (Gene) Schoof, Carol Hayes; five grandchildren, Austin, Wyatt, Emma, Jesse, Alexander; two x-husbands Randy Rosenbaum and Eric Comeno; as well as many nephews and nieces.

 

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and sister-in-law, Cindy Hayes.

 

Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., La Porte, IN. A Life Celebration will be held at the American Legion Hamon Gray Post 83 228 Lincolnway La Porte, IN on Sunday, September 12th from 2 until 5 pm. Everyone is aske to bring a side dish please.
