Sharon Ann Wathen, 61, of La Porte, Indiana, passed away Thursday March 9, 2023 at Northwest Health-La Porte.
She was born January 8, 1962 in Eldorado, Illinois, the daughter of Charles Wathen and Betty (Wiggins) Wathen.
Sharon truly enjoyed the company of her family especially her grandchildren, friends, and her dogs. She enjoyed collecting butterflies and an array of flowers. She will be greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts.
She is also survived by her son, Eric (Lindsay) Wathen of La Porte, IN; daughter, Melissa Mueller of Pigeon Forge, TN; two brothers, Randy Wathen, Jim Wathen; five grandchildren, Viviannah Riley, Jordana Patten, Emma Wathen, Colin Wathen, Miles Wathen; and her dear family friend Larry Welch.
Sharon was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Karen Cole.
Arrangements are being entrusted to Haverstock Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 602 Maple Ave., LaPorte, IN. The family has chosen cremation with a family gathering at a later time.
